Your Mental Health Matters
Your mental health matters, and IUDM is a family you can always lean on for support. Whether you're having a difficult day, feeling overwhelmed, or just need someone to check in, you don't have to navigate it alone.
Mental Health Check-In
Need someone to check in? The IUDM Mental Health Check-In Form is a space to share how you're doing and let us know if you'd like someone from IUDM to reach out.
This form is not monitored 24/7 and should not be used for immediate or crisis support.

Know the Warning Signs
We all have a role in looking out for the people around us. Knowing the warning signs that someone may be struggling can help you recognize when it's time to check in and connect them with support.
Warning signs can include:
-
Talking about feeling like a burden to others
-
Talking about wanting to die or looking for ways to die
-
Feeling hopeless about the future or like there is no way out
-
Withdrawing from friends, family, or others
-
Struggling to find joy in things they used to enjoy
-
Extreme or sudden mood swings
-
Increased use of alcohol or drugs
-
Taking dangerous or reckless risks
Someone doesn't have to show every warning sign to need support. Checking in, listening without judgment, and helping someone connect with support can make a difference.
