Membership Options​

 

There are a few different ways to find your place in our family depending on the experience you’re looking for.

 

If you’re a first-year student:

Our First-Year Dancer Experience (FYDE) is designed for first-year students who want to get involved with IUDM in the fall. FYDE meets weekly on Wednesdays at 8 p.m. in each residential neighborhood, fundraises together, and prepares to participate in fall events, including our 36-hour Dance Marathon.

If you’re an upperclassman looking for a lower-commitment way to participate:

Join a dancer team through your Greek chapter, student organization, or Friends of IUDM if you aren’t affiliated with one of those groups. Dancers fundraise throughout the fall and come together for major IUDM events, including our 36-hour Dance Marathon.

If you’re an upperclassman looking to be more involved:

Join one of our 18 committees, organized across four focuses, that meet weekly on Tuesday or Wednesday nights to plan events, fundraise, and help run IUDM throughout the year.
