Favorite DM Memory: During the final hours of IUDM 2016 Accounting was painting the numbers to hold up the $4.1 million total. In this moment it was such an incredible feeling to know how much of an impact over 3,000 students can make in just a year and then going on stage and holding up the total was when it all became so real. Watching the reactions of everyone who had put so much hard work into the marathon was surreal. I will never forget the moment everyone raised their hands to hold up the number four.

Favorite DM Memory: There is nothing quite like the feeling of standing arm and arm with your best friends as the “Angels Among Us” song plays for the final time. Being the Operations Chair last year, I had been in the tennis center for 50 straight hours at that point, but all the pain and exahustion went away when I looked around the circle and realized that the people in that room are changing the world. For that 4 minutes and 9 seconds we all stopped and reflected on the past year, and in those minutes its not about the monetary total but about all the love we share with the world and the amazing kiddos at Riley.
