Listen up y’all.

This is big news coming from the self-proclaimed #1 foodie of IUDM. If 6000 orders are placed on btownmenus.com this week (10/12-10/18) then they will donate $6,000 to IUDM and Riley Hospital for Children. That means that your food cravings now result in money going straight to Riley Hospital. This is probably one of my favorite ways to raise money for kids because I am feeding my belly in the process.

Done with the chit chat, let’s get to the good stuff of this post. Below I have listed a few of my favorite restaurants that you can order from off of BtownMenus.

The first is Butch’s Grillacatessen. Butch’s is one of the best places in Bloomington to feed your food baby. I recommend the “Big Grilla’s”. These massive subs will keep you full till next Tuesday. You can customize these subs with anything from chicken fingers to french fries to onion rings. Fried, fried, fried. Want something healthy? Yeah they got that too. Also, have you ever had matzah ball soup? No? Stop reading this blog, and order now.

Next on the list would be The Chocolate Moose. That’s right folks, ice cream delivered straight to your door…or outside your dorm if you’re still livin’ that life. This week might be a good week to take a day off that stupid diet that you’re on. Feast away into this creamy, chilled, deliciousness. One of the best ice cream establishments in town just got better.
Buffalouie’s. Do I even need to go into detail about this one? All I recommend is getting the traditional wings, they are way better than the boneless. (Don’t get me wrong, the boneless wings are tasty, but the reason why Buffa is at the top is due to those gorgeous traditional wingdalings. Feel free to get messy after you dig into a mound of wings. I won’t judge.

Sobon Korean Café is the curveball that you may or may not have even heard of. Located on 10th Street, in near Jimmy John’s is this prime spot for your Korean Kravings. You probably did not know you craved it, but you will after your first experience. Go on now, try something different, whether it is the classic “BeBimBab” dish, or another yummy meal from this fine establishment. I enjoy the Bulgogi Deopbab-something that definitely isn’t too crazy for your average appetite. Kimchi rice is also exquisite. (If you ever go to the restaurant get a Milkis drink-carbonated milk, it sounds crazy, but is so damn good).
Smokin’ Jacks will round off my list of places to try on BtownMenus. SJ is your Bloomington BBQ destination. Owned by Kilroy’s, this place has everything from ribs to brisket to BBQ chicken. The sides are also incredible, specifically the corn bread and mac & cheese. Take a drip down South and embrace the spirit of the ‘que.
